Heidrun Dickson started her mindfulness journey when a therapist suggested that mindfulness meditation might be beneficial. After experimenting with different apps for a while, she felt she needed more guidance and signed up for an MBSR class. A few weeks into the program, she noticed a significant improvement in her anxiety levels and a shift in her perception of the world around her. She has maintained a steady mindfulness practice since, including week-long intensive retreats. She trained as an MBSR teacher at Brown University’s School of Professional Studies and is a Qualified (Level 1) Teacher.
